We are so thankful to Chad's folk for our amazing family trip to South Dakota just after the boys got out of school in late May/early June!
Grandma and Grandpa Bunger had a house rented for the week that we could all stay at together in the Black Hills National Forest.
We did lots of sightseeing together including riding the 1880's train and visiting Reptile World
We also went to Rushmore Cave and Bear County USA
And of course Mt Rushmore! We actually went during the day and came back again for the evening show...and had ice cream BOTH times. :)
It was such a fun trip! And all the Bunger Grandsons had so much fun together with lots of memories made.
It was a long nearly 10 hour drive home, but we saw lots of western Nebraska scenery along the way too. Great family vacation to start our summer!

First Long Course Meet of Season
The boys both did great at their first long course meet of the season in Wichita!
They both took off time in all their events....crushing most of their times from last year!
This one above is my favorite of Mitchell...look at that determination! :)
The most impressive swim of the day was Collin's last event on the second day. He was pumped to swim this time and has been telling us that the 50 Free would be "his jam".

Last days of Elementary School
Hard to believe that Mitchell is now moving on from elementary school! He had a great last few weeks of 6th grade to end the year.
Mitchell tied for the highest points earned in 6th grade band division
6th grade living history day as a Greek Merchant
Mitchell was chosen to speak to read his Life Skills Essay at 6th grade recognition
Last day of 6th grade versus the first day of Kindergarten. Can't wait to see all he continues to achieve!
