We have been profoundly blessed in 2017 and are exctied to see all that awaits our family in 2018!!!
While our Christmas break wasn't quite what we had expected it to be with Collin having Influenza to start things out and Mitchell also going down with the stomach flu, we still were able to have time together with our families.

Back to School 2017-2018
Mitchell 7th grade and Collin 4th Grade
They are off to another amazing year! We are blessed with wonderful teachers for both of them once again.
And it's my 4th year as assistant coach for the EMS Cross Country Team. Great group of kiddos who have been working hard all season.

Summer Update
August is always a whirlwind with back to school craziness, birthdays, practices...lots off good stuff! But also not a lot of time for extra things....like blogging. :)
The boys were both in the summer production of Beauty and the Beast and had a great time being a part of their 3rd musical production with Manhattan Parks and Recreation.
Mitchell competed in his last 12&under competition with a strong performance that same weekend as the musical in Wichita at MVS Long Course District Championships. He has moved up to blue group for the Marlins this fall and will now be swimming with the 13&up age groups from now on. Which also means most swim meets for the boys will involve them swimming in separate sessions. We will take on the divide and conquer family swim meet approach from now on!
In early August, Chad took the boys on a mancation to Colorado while I was busy with lost of back to school meetings and teacher in services. They had a great time camping and fishing and even made it to the summit of Pike's Peak.
Mitchell has started middle school and comes with me to work every day!!! We both had milestone birthday's in August. I turned 40 and one day later we had a teenager in the house. What an amazing young man he is growing up to be! He is loving middle school!!

South Dakota
We are so thankful to Chad's folk for our amazing family trip to South Dakota just after the boys got out of school in late May/early June!
Grandma and Grandpa Bunger had a house rented for the week that we could all stay at together in the Black Hills National Forest.
We did lots of sightseeing together including riding the 1880's train and visiting Reptile World
We also went to Rushmore Cave and Bear County USA
And of course Mt Rushmore! We actually went during the day and came back again for the evening show...and had ice cream BOTH times. :)
It was such a fun trip! And all the Bunger Grandsons had so much fun together with lots of memories made.
It was a long nearly 10 hour drive home, but we saw lots of western Nebraska scenery along the way too. Great family vacation to start our summer!
