Mother's Day 2013

Not only was Sunday Chad's Birthday....we also celebrated Mother's Day.  All three boys make me feel special every day, but it was great to spend the whole day together and we even went for a family hike at Konza Prarie.

This was a fun but typical journey with young children.  Lots of funny comments like Collin saying to Chad who trying to get the boys to figure out animal tracks "less talking more walking" and of course there was a heated and repeated debate on who was the leader of our hike.  Pushing, shoving and the occasional whining aside...we still had a good time and agreed we would go back again soon.

Collin was the "leader" up this big hill.  Mitchell was protesting that Daddy said we wouldn't go this far and was lagging behind.....

Bickering of siblings and pointed, one-sided parent conversations with them aside.....I am so blessed to be the mother of these boys. Chad and I are also blessed that we had such a wonderful role models who was/are still an amazing mothers/mother-in-law's to us!!
