I Feel the Need

The need for SPEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Mitchell and I had an unexpected and fun first experience today attending our first NASCAR race in Kansas City. 

Thanks again to our friends the Green's for calling with the extra tickets so we could attend at the last minute.  It's just one of the great things about living in Northeastern Kansas and being within a short drive to fun events like this!

And it was LOUD!!!  But very cool.  Mitchell learned a new word he used most of the day when the cars would all start racing full out again after a caution.  We talked about how the sound of them flying past would resonate in our chest.  Nothing like NASCAR broaden our vocabulary. ;)

Another first for both Mitchell and I....and Mitchell's pick #20 Matt Kenseth was the winner!
